| DAY OF THE DINO, PART 1 (Episode 497) This season starts with Tommy (yes, that Tommy) on an island trying to escape a monster attack. Suddenly, the island starts to blow up and Tommy knows he must escape fast. Finally he decides to dive off a cliff and swim for it...just in time too, because the island soon blows up and sinks! A few years later, we re-join Tommy who is now a teacher of Science. While teaching his class, Tommy notices that a student is missing, this missing student is Conner, who is out playing soccer. However, when principal Randall catches him, he gets sent to the office. Later, two other students get into trouble and end up joining Conner. They are, Kira, who was busted for playing music on school grounds and Ethan, who got caught turning on the water which got principal Randall all wet. (we think she needed a shower anyway) Tommy is assigned to watch these three trouble makers for the remainder of the day, but he has plans to go to the local mesum later...Randall suggest that he take the three students with him. Once they get there, Tommy discovers that the mesum is closed for the day, but is now being run by Anton Mercer Industries Inc. This seems to worry Tommy, since Mr. Anton Mercer had died some years ago. Suddenly a huge T-Rex comes around the corner and starts chasing him. Tommy jumps in his Jeep and is able to out run the T-Rex and after it hits it's head on a cement wall, he discovers that the T-Rex is just a huge machine. This also has now disabled the Rex. The three students explore the area around the mesum and fall into a hole in the ground. They explore the area they have fallen into and discover a hidden room and also find 3 glowing gems, which they take and decide to keep. Those monsters can sence that the gems have been moved and show up to attack the kids. During their battle, the kids discover that those gems are somehow giving them really strange powers. After the battle the meet up with Tommy who they decide not to tell anything about what has happened. Kira later gives her gem to Ethan and says she wants nothing to do with it anymore. Meanwhile, Cassidy, a student at the school has done some research on Tommy by calling Angle Grove High, but there is nothing on file there about Tommy, which she finds to be very strange. Ethan and Conner go to Tommy's house..he's not home, but the decide to go in anyway since the door was unlocked. While there, they discover the same room as they did while underground. Suddenly Tommy arrives and catches them. Bigger problems though, Kira has now been kidnapped by those monsters! RATING: 9 |

| DAY OF THE DINO, PART 2 (Episode 498) Conner and Ethan soon discover what has happened to Kira and tells Tommy. Tommy tells them he was the one who helped create those monsters, which are called Tyrannodrones. Conner demands that Tommy tells them what is going on. Tommy says that the Tyrannodrones were a research project he had been working on, but thought that the research had been destroyed years ago. Now, Anton Mercer, who had helped Tommy with the project has returned as an evil villain named Messogog. At this point, Kira suddenly appears out of nowhere and slams onto the hood of Tommy's Jeep. This was caused by portals that are all over the city due to the evil monsters. The group is then attacked by Trannodrones and they must fight there way free. After the short battle, everyone goes home. Tommy says he will tell them everything tomorrow. Meanwhile, Mesogog is planning on attacking the city and making everyone think that Lothor has returned to Earth again. The next day, Cassidy wants to know what has been going on and ask Kira a lot of questions, but Kira tells her nothing. Suddenly, monsters start attacking the city and school. Tommy tells the students about the Biozords and gives them the morphers they will need in order to become power rangers. (Kira also takes back her gem at this point) Tommy says that in order for the gems powers to be destroyed, the rangers would have to be destroyed, that is why the three students are always being attacked. The rangers morph and go into battle for the first time, they combine weapons and attack the monsters. However, the monsters also have their own zords. So, the rangers locate and tame their Biozords and combine them to form the megazord and soon the monster zord is taken down. Mesogog is not happy about now having to battle Power Rangers. Also, Tommy tells the kids that their lives will now, never be the same. RATING: 9 |
| WAVE GOODBYE (Episode 499) Ethan tells Conner and Kira to come to 'CyberSpace', a place where Ethan always hangs out. They meet Hayley, the owner, who already knows everyone, and she also knows that Kira is a singer and offers her a job singing on the stage at Cyberspace. Tommy calls for Ethan and he meets Tommy is the woods. Tommy shows him some dino eggs and says that soon they are going to ride them. Tyranndrones soon arrive, they want to destroy the eggs. Ethan and Tommy must now fight to protect those eggs. Conner ends up leaving a soccer game to come help and Kira also comes. After the battle, Conner returns to the field, but the game is already over. A new worker is now at CyberSpace, Kira seems to really like him, his name is Trent. Conner wants to talk to Tommy about no longer being a ranger. The other two rangers go with him and when they arrive, they discover that Tommy is busy training some kind of new dino, this is what was in those eggs. Conner tells Tommy what he has decided and then leaves. Mesogog has sent another monster to attack the city, Conner says that he will help this time, but it will be the last time. The Raptor Riders were in those eggs and now they can be used by the rangers in battle. They use the Raptor Riders to catch up with the monster and when the monster grows, they combine their zords and take it down. Ethan thinks that Tommy may have fought monsters like this before...since he knows so much about them. The coach gives Conner one last chance to make the team, but Conner ends up choosing to be a ranger instead, plus he didn't make the team anyway. Kira sings on stage at CyberSpace while everyone else there, including Ethan and Conner, listen. Tommy was going to the CyberSpace center also, but along the way is attacked by Tyrannodrones and taken to Mesogog's lab. RATING: 9.5 |
| Legacy Of Power [Part 2 of 2] (Episode 500) "May the power live on forever." Tommy has been taken to Messogog's lab. Mesogog wants Tommy to tell him what is inside some stone that he found. The rangers realize that something is wrong and want to know where Tommy is. They go to the underground lab and find a file stored on Tommy's computer, it is a viedo diary that tells of Tommy's history. His history as a Power Ranger! The rangers don't know how to take this news and only can watch as the screen displays the past battles dating all the way back to 1993. -->>Start Diary Entrie. It all started with the battle against Rita. Zordon had no choice but to choose some High School kids at Angel Grove High to become Power Rangers. Tommy fell under Rita's evil spell and became the Evil Green Ranger. <<--Stop Entrie. Hayley walks in one the rangers while they are viewing the diary. She says that Tommy is not the oldest ranger, just the best. She goes on to say that Tommy is in trouble and they are the only one's who can save him. Hayley tells them that she built the morphers and knows that the kids are Power Rangers. The kids think Tommy is still a ranger, but then Hayley shows them more of the diary. -->>Continue Entrie. With Rita nearly being defeated came a new evil force, Lord Zed, soon 3 new rangers were chosen: Adam, Rocky, and Ieasha. A huge battle soon took place and the orginal ranger powers were destroyed. The rangers searched for a new power source and soon found the Ninja Powers. Later even with the ninja powers came the fall of the Command Center, even after such a hard battle against evil. Ninja Powers were not powerful enough, so came the Zeo crystals (Zeo Powers). Jason returned to the team after having left for a long time. Soon it was time for the rangers graduation and one last adventure for the rangers. It's Turbo Time! The Turbo Powers were found and just in time to battle the evil space villain Devatox. Also, Justin joins the team as the youngest ever Power Ranger! Soon a trade of powers, the turbo powers were passed to T.J., Cassy, and Carlos. Justin still remained. This ended Tommy adventure as a power ranger. <<--Stop Entrie After that time, Tommy went to college where Hayley says he ment her and started working on these 'Dino' projects. -->>Continue Entrie. The biggest battle of all time was about to happen as Devatox attacked the turbo commad center after Demetria and Alpha left to help on another planet. Devitox leaves Earth to go work in space for DarkSpector. The rangers follow her into space, but Justin chooses to stay behind with his dad. They meet up with Andros to battle Astonama and Zane joins the team as the Silver ranger. Soon, the battle was over and the Earth was safe. On a distant planet, 5 new rangers formed the Lost Galaxy Team. Then at the same time back on Earth, 5 more rangers become the Light Speed Sescue team. Both teams were able to win over evil, but both ended up having their powers destroyed. Power Ranger then came from the future chasing Ranisk, an evil crime lord, so became the Time Force Rangers and the victory over the evil Ransik.<<--Stop Entrie Hayley has now found a way to get into Mesogog's lab, but she knows that there was at least one more group of rangers out there some where. The current rangers want to contact the Time Force rangers and have them help save Tommy, but they can not find a way to contact them. Conner suggest typing in 'Ninja Storm' since he had a twin brother who went to the Ninja school, but his brother also failed out of the school, so he was never a ranger for sure. -->>Continue Entrie. Finally, completing the set is the Wild Force Rangers and the Ninja Storm Rangers. The Wild Force team won the battle over evil and some of those rangers still have their powers today. Ninja Storm battle the evil Lothor to free the Ninja Students that were trapped on his ship. In the end, Lothor was defeated, but the Ninja Powers were destroyed right along with him. Cam had even traveled back in time to get his powers, only to lose them months later. And so brings us to the present day, Ethan, Connor, and Kira have now been chosen to protect the city and planet. May the power live on forever! <<--End Diary Entrie. Conner shows off some of his Ninja moves that his brother had taught him and ends up kicking the computer. This was really a good think though, because that kick caused the computer to display Tommy's location. It is now up to the rangers to save him! RATING: 10 |
| BACK IN BLACK (Episode 501) Have you recovered from the long episode 500 review yet? If so, lets continue. :) Hayley gives the rangers the Rapter Cycles and we soon learn that Conner does not know how to swim. The rangers use the cycles to go to Mesogog's lab and rescue Tommy. When the rangers arrive at the base, they use a portal to get inside. (After battling some monsters) Inside, the rangers come face to face with Mesogog, but are able to free Tommy at the same time. The rangers tell Tommy that they know he used to be a power ranger. Before they leave the evil lab, Tommy grabs the stone off the table and he and the ranger escape back through the protal. However, Mesogog and his mob has followed them. Tommy uses the enegry from one of the Tyrannodrones to release what was inside that stone...it was a black Dino Gem. Tommy tells the villains that these gems choose who they want, Tommy then discovers that this black gem has chosen him. Tommy now uses the morpher and joins the rangers in battle as the Black Dino Thunder Power Ranger. The rangers take out Mesogog's 'Flower' monster, only to have it return later as a 30-story-version of itself. Hayley sends Tommy his zord. This new zord also carries the other ranger's zords inside of it. The rangers combine all of their zords and using some help from Tommy's new zord, they are able to defeat the giant Flower monster. Later that day, Tommy announces that he is going shopping because his closet is really short on the color BLACK! :0) RATING: 9 |
